Letter Writing Campaign Wednesday July 21, 2010
Our Jobs are under attack, The politicians in Trenton are at it again. They are considering a bill, S2206 that would allow management in state and local government to furlough workers anytime they wanted to:
- With no input from your union!!
- With no ability to bargain!!!
In order to oppose S2206, there will be an important letter writing campaign on Wednesday July 21, 2010 between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM at the Union Office 122 North Broadway, 2nd Floor Camden, NJ 08102
All CWA LOCAL 1084 Members who live in the following districts are
asked to participate:
- District 4 - (Camden and Gloucester) Clementon, Franklin (Gloucester), Glassboro, Gloucester Township, Laurel Springs, Lindenwold, Monroe (Gloucester), Newfield, Pitman, Washington (Gloucester)
- District 6 - (Camden) Audubon Park, Berlin, Berlin Township, Cherry Hill, Chesilhurst, Collingswood, Gibbsboro, Haddon, Haddonfield, Oaklyn, Pine Hill, Pine Valley, Tavistock, Voorhees, Waterford, Winslow

2010 - 2013 Contract Update
The 2010 – 2013 Contract Proposal between the Camden County Board of Social Services and Communications Workers of America AFL – CIO Local 1084 was ratified yesterday in a vote at CWA local 1084's Union Office.
Results of Voting:
- Yes - 216
- No - 70
- Spoilt Ballot - 1
